S'mores Pie

Get ready, because with this decadent pie, it's impossible to have just one piece! (But we won't tell....)

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup melted marshmallows (for the filling)
  • 1 cup marshmallows (mini look super cute!)
  • 3/4 (8 ounce) jar Old School Favorites chocolate Szauce


Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9″ pie pan with baking spray.

For the crust:  In a large bowl beat butter and sugar together until combined, then stir in the egg and vanilla.  Stir in flour, graham cracker crumbs, and baking powder.  Divide the dough, setting half aside.  Press the other half the dough in the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pie pan.

For the filling:  Melt the marshmallows and spread evenly on the crust.  Take about 3/4 of an 8 ounce jar of Szauce and spread it over the layer of melted marshmallows (tip: warming the Szauce slightly might make it easier to work with).  Warning - this gets messy, but it is part of the fun. :) 

Place 1 cup of marshmallows on top of the Szauce layer.  Using the remaining crust, pat sections of dough on top of and around the marshmallows (they will still show through and that is great!).  If desired, drizzle some Szauce over the top and bake for 20 minutes (until lightly browned).

Remove pan from oven and set it on a wire rack. Some people suggest waiting until it cools so you do not have a gooey mess, other people think the gooey mess is what it is all about. Let us know what you do!
