Maple walnut pie crust
1 box Old School Favorites Nutsz
¼ cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
¼ cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
Fudge pudding pie filling
1 cup sugar
½ cup all–purpose flour
1 cup half & half
¼ cup unsalted butter
1 (8 ounce) jar Old School Favorites chocolate Szauce
3 egg yolks
Preheat oven 350°F.
For the crust: Place Nutsz, brown sugar, flour and butter in food processor. Process until mixture resembles coarse meal (this will not take long). Press mixture onto bottom of ungreased 10-inch baking dish. Bake 5 minutes and let cool 15 minutes.
For the filling: In a bowl whisk together sugar, powder and flour. Set aside. In a sauce pan combine half & half and butter, stirring over medium heat until smooth. Let cool a few minutes then whisk in Szauce. Add eggs and dry ingredients, stir until smooth. Transfer filling into pie crust. Bake 30-35 minutes (until center is set and the edges start to crack). Remove from the oven and cool at least 10-15 minutes better serving. Enjoy!
